LiLi Zhang, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Her research interests are in the integration of atmospheric sciences, remote sensing sciences and geographic information science. In her Ph.D. dissertation research, she studied the retrieval algorithm and spatial simulation analysis for carbon dioxide column abundances from short-wavelength infrared spectral observations. She is experienced with the atmospheric radiative transfer model SCIATRAN, the global chemical transport model GEOS-Chem and the high accuracy surface model HASM and skillful with for software packages and coding languages: ArcEngine, C# and MATLAB.
While a Visiting Scholar with the Spatial Sciences Institute at the University of Southern California, she is focusing on the correlation analysis between green infrastructure and greenhouse gas.
