Daniel Sultan’s commitment to global security stems from his childhood experiences in Cairo, Egypt before his family immigrated to the United State, his study abroad experience in Florence, Italy and his international business experience working with vendors and suppliers in China and Europe.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from Loyola Marymount University, where his course and project work focused on topics such as economic development, law, trend identification and quality management design.

Daniel speaks Arabic, Italian and Spanish and enjoys learning new languages, traveling, soccer, swimming and reading.

His goal in being part of the inaugural class in the USC M.A. Global Security Program is to develop the capacity to help promote a more safe and just world.
