Jianhua Wu achieved his Ph.D. degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University in December 2008. He is currently an associate professor, a master's tutor and the dean of GIS department at School of Geography and Environment, Jiangxi Normal University, and moreover he is a visiting scholar at Spatial Sciences Institute, University of Southern California. His research interests include spatial data management and update, geospatial data matching and integration, geographic information system, digital map processing, graphics recognition and so on. He has participated in and hosted numerous GIS projects and obtained five software copyrights. He has rich experiences in GIS design, application, development and management.
