SSI Ph.D. student to discuss Red Cross project at summit

SSI graduate student Evan Lue  will be participating as a panelist at a Geospatial Summit on Emergency  Management & Homeland Security on March 17, 2011 at the California  Endowment. The event is the first in a Geospatial Summit Series hosted  by SoCal URISA and CGIA. The morning panel consists of specialists from  local, state, and governement agencies, with Lue  representing the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region as its GIS  Project Lead. The project aims to bring GIS capabilities to Red Cross  chapters across the entire Southern California region.
