SSI researcher and Ph.D. student Kaveh Shahabi was named the best TA for 2012-2013 in Computer Science at the Viterbi School of Engineering Ph.D. hooding ceremony last month.
Shahabi was previously honored as the USC Esri Development Center Student of the Year in 2012 for the creation of a tool for ArcGIS for Desktop and the ArcGIS Network Analyst extension that performs evacuation planning more intelligently and efficiently.
