The University of Southern California is pleased to introduce a new cross-disciplinary Master’s program in the exciting field of big data available for fall 2016:

  • Master of Science in Spatial Informatics – an interdisciplinary degree program offered by the Viterbi School of Engineering and the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences
    • Students will navigate the field of data analytics and understand how spatial informatics skills can benefit forward-thinking companies. They also learn how spatial data management, data visualization, and artificial intelligence techniques like data mining and machine learning are powerful analytical tools to apply to real-world challenges.

Students with academic backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, math or a related social science may apply for either program for fall 2016 (extended deadline is March 15).

Interested students are invited to learn more about both programs at an upcoming webinar (February 24 at 2pm) or in-person information session at USC co-hosted by Dr. Cyrus Shahabi, Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (February 24 at 4pm).
