2017 SSCI 350 International GeoDesign Info Session

Learn about the Summer 2017 SSCI 350: International GeoDesign course, a Dornsife “Problems Without Passports” program running May 30 – June 30, 2017.

In this four-unit course, conduct research with international GeoDesign experts in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Delft, and apply Dutch urban planning, geospatial technologies, and environmental design principles to address an LA-area societal challenge of your choice.

During the two-field experience (June 10 – June 24) based a Vrije University Amsterdam, participate in a GeoDesign case study to develop a mixed-use green circular economy lifecycle plan for Amsterdam Noord with Dutch GeoDesign practitioners and faculty from Vrije University Amsterdam and USC.

GeoDesign and other Dornsife majors may apply for Dornsife Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (SURF) support.
