GIST student Devon Munsell reported earlier this year that he was offered a GIS Application Developer position at GIS Solutions in Springfield, Illinois. The position involves developing custom desktop and web applications for a variety of government and private clients.
Devon acknowledged the GIST program for providing a turning point in his career, with the Programming and Web GIS courses playing an essential role in qualifying him for the new position.
