Earth Day is celebrated each year in more than 192 countries worldwide to bring awareness to issues of environmental conservation. To commemorate Earth Day this year, USC students in SSCI 483: Spatial Sciences Practicum will lead a Green Room Certification Sustainability Audit of offices across campus. By auditing behavioral variables in nine categories energy, waste, water, transportation, health, purchasing, education, community, and innovation these offices can become better aware of their sustainability practices. With the audit results, USC students will be able to offer specific recommendations for individuals and offices to increase green and sustainable practices in the workplace.
Meet in AHF 145D at 2pm to organize into audit teams to survey offices across campus.
