As Academic Programs Director, Kendrick Watson coordinates recruitment, admissions, academic advisement, and student degree progress for the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Spatial Sciences Institute housed in the University of Southern California Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.

Prior to joining the Spatial Sciences Institute in 2014, Ken had responsibilities and work experience at the California Institute of Technology in Housing and Dining Services and with Student Affairs.

He is  a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from  the USC Rossier School of Education, investigating issues of equity and access in higher education for marginalized and underrepresented student populations.

He has served in a number of capacities with Holy Family Church in South Pasadena, including as Board Member, Community Development, of its Pastoral Leadership Commission.
