GIST Student Finalist in Map Mashup Competition

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

GIST student Nancy Milholland opened an exciting email this week — news that she had been selected as one of five finalists in the 1st Robert Raskin Mapping Mashup Competition, sponsored by the Association of American Geographers (AAG) Cyberinfrastructure Specialty Group.

As a finalist, Nancy has been invited to present at the AAG meeting in Los Angeles in early April.  Her map mashup, and the other four finalists, will also be voted on by the public between March 25 and April 5 to select the most popular. Judges at the AAG presentations will then name the First Prize.

Congratulations to Nancy, and stay tuned for the link to see all the finalists and cast your vote.
