GIST M.S. candidate and U.S. Army Major Dave Staffel recently gathered ten undergraduate officer candidates from various U.S. universities and their Maasai guide in front of an ancient baobob tree in Tanzania. The cadets taught English to Tanzanian junior officer cadets as part of the U.S. Army Cadet Command's Cultural Understanding and Language Proficiency Program.
