Custom Geospatial Datasets

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The advent of cloud computing coupled with new opportunities to collect geographically referenced digital data and the increasing tendency for geospatial datasets to be distributed with geospatial software have helped to usher in a new era in which geospatial professionals are awash with geographically-referenced data that they can use in their projects.

This new era also has provided new opportunities to generate and share new value-added geospatial datasets using web-based platforms like ArcGIS Online. Many geospatial datasets will have value that extends across multiple projects or application domains and the goal then is to promote the sharing and reuse of these data.

We share the custom geospatial datasets listed below, with the caveat that the potential user checks the metadata carefully so they can be confident that the chosen dataset fits the purpose for which they would be download and use these data.
