Dr. Guoping Huang will demonstrate the usage of drone imagery for wetland conservation, ecosystem sustainability, and cultural identity in Ghana, West Africa. (in person).
Dr. Jason Knowles will demonstrate the applications of geospatial technology to natural disaster emergency response, with specific examples from Northern California wildfires. (virtual).
Dr. Yi Qi will demonstrate applications of remote sensing and machine learning techniques on forest and agricultural management. (in person).
Dr. Diana Ter-Ghazaryan will moderate an extended Q&A session (in person).
Part 2:
4 – 6 pm (in person):
Meet SC Mappers in AHF B57J for a brief data collection training. Then, use your mobile device to collect sustainability data on campus and return to AHF B57J for to map and analyze the data you have just collected!” .
