The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is now accepting applications from USC students for its Summer 2022 internships. This summer students will work on SCAG's Connect SoCal project. Read the scope of work for this internship.
Past USC Spatial Sciences Institute interns have made important contributions to SCAG projects. They also have gained valuable professional experience in working with SCAG's GIS leaders. Learn more about the USC SSI-SCAG internship partnership in this SSI Brown Bag presentation.
The ideal USC undergraduate applicant will have taken SSCI 382: Principles of Geographic Information Science. USC masters-level applicants are advised to taken SSCI 587: Spatial Data Acquisition; having taken SSCI 588: Remote Sensing for GIS would be considered a plus.
