Five USC SSI Students Presenting at Esri Dev Summit

The USC SSI program will be represented well at the upcoming Esri Developer Summit.  Five students involved in either the MS in Geographic Information Science and Technology or research at the Spatial Sciences Institute have had presentations accepted to this important annual meeting.  These include:

  • Sarah Gehring: Wednesday, March 11th in Mesquite B from 5:30pm – 5:55pm - Innovation in Visualizing Spatial Information in Unstructured Text
  • Lara Hughes-Stinson: Thursday March 12, Mesquite C from 1:00pm-1:25pm - Delimination of Evacuation Trigger Buffer using FARSITE and GIS:  Fire Evacuation Prediction Model
  • Charles Hall: Thursday March 12, Mesquite C from 2:30pm-2:55pm - Weather Underground Data Integration
  • Michael Barnett: Thursday March 12, Mesquite C from 3:05pm-3:30pm - GeoHazard Map with Volunteered Geographic Information
  • Michael Barnett: Thursday March 12, Mesquite B from 5:30pm-5:55pm - GeoHazard Risk Analysis Model at the Block Level

The Developer Summit runs March 9-13 in Palm Springs, California.
