Join Crime Analyst Wyman Thomas from USC’s Department of Public Safety (DPS) to learn how GIS and geographic data are being utilized to provide campus safety and security at USC. Officer Thomas will also discuss DPS operations utilizing GIS technologies to provide real-time information during emergency response situations. With over 35 years of experience as a DPS officer at USC, Mr. Thomas will discuss the importance of geographic data in in all stages of emergency response. This presentation will offer a visually stimulating and hands-on experience with local emergency responders.
