The goal of Environmental Charter School’s Green Ambassadors Institute is to transform and deepen the instructional practice and the culture of schools across southern California serving disadvantaged communities. The Green Ambassadors Institute (GAI) is an in-person professional development program hosted at Environmental Charter Schools and provides training, resources, and curriculum in best practices for environmental service learning, interdisciplinary instruction, and school wide greening to educators in Southern California. The GAI supports educators to integrate principles of environmental sustainability within their standards-based core curricula and to implement environmentally sustainable practices and programs in their classrooms, schools, and organizations. The GAI is also a networking and collaborative space for educators and community organizations to come together to exchange ideas and share best practices.
A pizza lunch will be provided.
